Saltwater Fishing
Fantastic fishing opportunities in Vancouver Island's west coast waters!
From your base at our Vancouver Island fishing lodge you will experience some of the best saltwater salmon fishing for trophy Chinook (King) and Coho (Silver) on the west coast from Alaska to California!
The waters off the West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia also offer anglers some great bottom fishing opportunities for Halibut, Lingcod, Red Snapper, and several species of Rockfish, not to mention the Dungeness Crab and Prawn fishing opportunities.
There are incredible numbers of Chinook (King) salmon in the 20 to 50 pound range and Coho (Silvers) salmon in the 8 to 18 pound range migrating down the west coast of Vancouver Island each summer.
Along with luxurious waterfront BC fishing lodge accommodations we provide our guests with outstanding fishing opportunities for these hard-fighting sport fish. Our salmon fishing is done with top-of-the-line light tackle in very shallow waters (25 to 60 feet) close to the miles of kelp beds that surround Nootka Island.
All of our fishing is done from coast guard approved 19 to 24 foot boats that are fully equipped with G.P.S, fish finders, VHF radios, and electric downriggers. Our boats are equipped with marine heads and full cover. All of our boats are operated by highly experienced guides; ensuring a safe and enjoyable fishing experience.
